You can be “on track” and doing everything “right”: you know how to eat healthy, stay disciplined, follow a plan, and get results. And yet, somehow, you keep ending up back in the same place.
You restrict, you overeat, you obsess over food or your body. You try to regain control and tell yourself you need to start over. So you try harder. You tighten things up, set more rules, get more disciplined, and promise yourself this time will be different, until the same patterns show up again.
You're not lacking discipline and you don’t need more control. You're caught in a cycle that more discipline can't solve.
And that's where my work begins.
Health

What's really going on
What you’re experiencing isn’t just about food. It’s not a willpower issue, and it's not about discipline or knowing what to do.
It’s about patterns that have been shaped over time through past experiences, self-judgement, how you’ve learned to cope with stress or emotions, and the way control and self-worth have become tied to your body.
So you might find yourself trying to “do everything right”…while also feeling like it's never quite enough. You may swing between control and chaos with food, not because you’re inconsistent, but because different parts of you are trying to create safety in the only ways they know how.
Over time, this can become a cycle of restriction, overwhelm, emotional eating, and starting over, paired with deep self-judgement that makes it even harder to step out of it. Nothing about this means you’re broken. It means something deeper is asking to be understood, not controlled. And that’s where real change begins.

It’s the foundation behind all of my work. The framework stays the same; what changes is the level of support and personalization.

Hi, I'm

Lauren ganim health & Nutrition
I’m a holistic registered dietitian, personal trainer, herbalist, runner, and lover of the outdoors who believes the body is far more intelligent than we’ve been taught to give it credit for.
My journey into nutrition as a form of medicine began when I was just 14 years old, fueled by a strong conviction that our approach to health needed to change. Much of what I have learned about the body, I have learned through my own.
Through both my studies and my body’s teachings, I overcame an eating disorder and healed chronic gut health issues. As I came to understand what was actually happening in my own healing, I realized I had found something that was largely missing from the health industry today: a true understanding of how to work with the body itself.

That realization led me to develop my Back to Your Body Framework, born from my own healing and guided by what my body had taught me. Everything I do today is based around the principles in my framework.

The brilliance of the human body never ceases to amaze me. I believe the body is always communicating, always adapting, and always working to protect us, and when we learn how to work with it, it becomes possible to rebuild trust, stability, and ease.
