You feel stuck in cycles with food and your body that don’t make sense anymore. You can be “on track”, in control, and doing everything right, and then suddenly you're restricting, bingeing, emotional eating, or starting over again. No matter how hard you try, it feels like something in you keeps overriding your best intentions.
I work with high-functioning individuals caught in cycles of control around food and body image, helping them break out of the all-or-nothing cycle and rebuild trust with their body in a way that actually lasts. Because these patterns don’t just affect how you eat, they impact your energy, digestion, hormones, and how safe you feel in your own body.
My approach is different. Instead of more rules or restriction, we work with your body, using nutrition, herbalism, eastern medicine, and a body-led framework to restore balance and trust.
I’ve lived this myself. I know the shame, the frustration, and the feeling of being stuck in your own patterns. And I also know what it takes to move beyond them.
If you’re ready to stop starting over, you’re in the right place.

What's really going on
What you’re experiencing isn’t just about food. It’s not a willpower issue, and it's not about discipline or knowing what to do.
It’s about patterns that have been shaped over time through past experiences, self-judgement, how you’ve learned to cope with stress or emotions, and the way control and self-worth have become tied to your body.
So you might find yourself trying to “do everything right”…while also feeling like you’re never quite enough. You may swing between control and chaos with food, not because you’re inconsistent, but because different parts of you are trying to create safety in the only ways they know how.
Over time, this can become a cycle of restriction, overwhelm, emotional eating, and starting over, paired with deep self-judgement that makes it even harder to step out of it. Nothing about this means you’re broken. It means something deeper is asking to be understood, not controlled. And that’s where real change begins.
Hi, I'm

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Lauren ganim health & Nutrition
I’m a holistic registered dietitian, personal trainer, and soon-to-be clinical herbalist with a deep respect for the intelligence of the human body, and a love for running, hiking, nature, and the outdoors.
I work with people navigating deep patterns with food, their body, and their sense of self, and my approach is shaped just as much by my own lived experience as it is by my professional studies.
My journey in nutrition as a form of medicine began when I was just 14 years old, fueled by a strong conviction that our approach to health needed to change. If there is anyone that has always felt there is another way, it’s me.
My body is my greatest teacher and my best friend, but it wasn’t always that way. Much of what I have learned about the body I have learned through my own. Through both my studies and my body's teachings, I have overcome an eating disorder, healed my gut, reduced chronic stress, and rebuilt my relationship with myself. These experiences now inform everything I do.
The brilliance of the human body never ceases to amaze me. I believe the body is always communicating, always adapting, and always working to protect us, and when we learn how to listen, it becomes possible to rebuild trust, stability, and ease.
My goal is to guide you back to that place where your body feels steady, your energy returns, and your health becomes something you understand and trust.

How we work together
There isn’t one single path to healing your relationship with food and your body. That’s because your experience isn’t one-dimensional, and your support shouldn’t be either.
My work is rooted in a body-led approach, which means we focus on what your body is communicating through patterns, symptoms, emotions, and behaviors, rather than trying to override them.
From there, we support regulation in the body through your physical health, your emotional patterns, and work with the deeper layers that often sit underneath these patterns, including self-worth, control, and safety.
There are different ways to step into this work depending on the level of support you need.
