BACK TO YOUR BODY

Wellness Reimagined: Changing the way you work with your body

A 6-Month 1:1 Intensive That Helps High-Performing Individuals and Current or Former Athletes Break Free From Restriction, Bingeing, and the Constant Preoccupation With Food, Exercise, and Their Bodies, Without Giving Up Their Health, Fitness, or High Standards.

What if instead of trying to "hack" your body, you learned its language instead?

You've spent years learning how to take care of yourself. Maybe you’re a former athlete, maybe you still compete, or maybe health & fitness are just a large part of your life and who you are. You know how to follow a plan, push yourself, stay disciplined, and get results.

You've probably already reached your goal weight or goal body before. Maybe you've gotten leaner, stronger, faster, or fitter than you've ever been. But somehow, you feel like every time you reach what you “thought” you wanted, the goal post keeps moving, or you self-sabotage, ruining all your progress, and ending up back at square one, only to do it all again.

You restrict, you overeat, you feel guilty, you try to regain control, and you start over. But even if you aren't actively bingeing or restricting, food, exercise, and your body can still take up far more mental space than you want them to. You tell yourself you're just trying to be healthy, but when your usual strategies stop working, you start wondering what's wrong with you. Maybe it's your hormones. Maybe it's your metabolism. Maybe it's your gut.

But what if you aren't actually sabotaging yourself? What if your body isn't failing you at all? What if it's responding exactly as it should?

Introducing Back to Your Body

Back to Your Body is a 6-month 1:1 intensive for high-performing individuals and athletes who know exactly what they “should” be doing for their health, but want to be free from cycles of restriction, overeating, guilt, and obsession without having to sacrifice the health, fitness, and body they've worked so hard to build.

What you actually want is to feel strong, fit, confident, and good in your body without having to spend your life fighting it to get there.

Without food becoming an obsession, without exercise becoming punishment, without spending your whole life on a never-ending mission to lose weight, get leaner, or finally feel “good enough.”

You want to eat without calculating what you'll have to do afterward. You want to exercise because you love moving your body, not because you ate too much and need to burn it off. You want to get dressed without checking how flat your stomach is, if your thighs are touching, or if your arms look too big or small to wear a tank top. You want to stop reaching your goals only to sabotage them and start all over again.

More importantly, you want to be free without having to give up the health, fitness, and body you're proud of.

That's exactly what Back to Your Body was created to help you do.

There is an entire language of communication happening between you and your body that you already have access to. You just haven’t learned how to speak it.

Instead, you've spent years learning how to manage your body. You know how to follow a plan. You know how to train, eat well, push yourself, stay disciplined, and get results. And when your body didn't respond the way you felt it should, you assumed you needed to try harder.

So you learned to ignore hunger because it wasn’t convenient, pushed through fatigue because there was more to achieve, exercised when you were depleted because you felt like you had to, ignored pain because it felt like weakness, restricted to manipulate your weight, and criticized your body for not looking the way you wanted.

You became incredibly good at controlling your body. But your body was never meant to be something you constantly manage, override, or control.

And over time, something happens when you repeatedly override what your body is telling you: you completely disconnect yourself from it, and you stop knowing how to hear it.

You may know your body better than almost anyone from the outside. You know how to change it, train it, feed it, restrict it, measure it, analyze it, and make it perform. But you don't actually know it. You don't know how to be in a relationship with it.

Your body stops being something you live with and starts becoming something you are constantly trying to manage against, and then you wonder why you don't trust your own body, or why your usual strategies aren't working anymore, or why you feel out of control around food, or why you're afraid change what you've always done.

Maybe the problem isn't that you don't know enough about your body.

Maybe you've spent so long trying to control it that you've lost your relationship with it.

Your body isn't failing you. It never has been. You've been taught to relate to it as though it's something that needs to be controlled. There is a language your body has been speaking all along. The work is in learning how to hear it.

Your body is not the problem.
The relationship you've been taught to have with it is

How Back to Your Body Works

Back to your Body isn't a philosophy I came up with and decided to teach. This is the framework I had to develop to get myself out of an eating disorder, heal my gut health, and change the exact relationship with my body that you're experiencing.

And the solution isn't simply: eat intuitively, stop dieting, love your body, regulate your nervous system, learn more about nutrition, stop caring about what other people think.  Those approaches don’t address the foundation of what’s keeping you stuck. The answer is to learn how to relate to your body as a partner rather than something you need to control. Because your relationship with your body is the foundation of health, and this framework gets you there.

Back to Your Body unfolds in two phases. We build the relationship first, then we learn how to work with the body. Because you can't work with a body you don't understand, and you can't build trust with a body you continually override. Here what that actually looks like

You learned to relate to your body through control, performance, achievement, and someone who pushes their body past its limits.

Over time, you created a physiological disconnection from your body and a relationship built on distrust and control. You were your body’s own worst enemy and biggest bully. That worked for you for a long time. Now it’s keeping you stuck.

You may have spent your entire life in your body without actually knowing it at all.

This first phase is about changing that relationship.

This isn’t learning to “listen to your body”. Listening isn’t enough. You can “listen” to someone and still not actually hear or understand what they’re saying, or ignore them completely.

This is about developing an actual, tangible relationship with your body built on trust, communication, and connection. You'll learn to recognize what your body is communicating, understand what it’s asking of you, respond appropriately, and become someone your body can trust.

You’re getting to know your body for the first time in your life, at a depth most people never experience. This is where you learn the language your body has been speaking all along.

Over time, you begin to experience your body differently. It becomes less something to manage, fix, or control and more something you know, understand, communicate with, and work alongside. You’re not just learning to trust your body. You’re becoming someone your body can trust.

01.

Building the Relationship

02.

Partner with the Body

Your body didn’t respond the way you wanted… your weight didn’t budge, you performed poorly, your clothes don’t fit right, your abs aren't showing...

...but your body has physiological needs that have to be met before it can give you the outcomes you’re looking for.

In this phase we stop forcing the body into the outcome you want and learn to work with what it’s actually telling you, rather than making health decisions from the same framework that got you here.

Education and embodiment merge as you learn to use your understanding of your body in real time. We do tangible work around food, movement, recovery, lifestyle, and physiology. Whether you’re dealing with restriction, bingeing, overeating, compulsive exercise, or an eating disorder, we address the patterns, and make physical changes, not just talk about them.

You begin learning how to make decisions with your body rather than against it. As you stop overriding your body and begin meeting its needs, you create the physiological foundation for it to function the way it was designed to.

Your body isn’t your boss or your enemy, and it’s not someone you need to have power over, it’s your partner.

I’m not asking you to give up your desire to be healthy, strong, fit, or high-performing. You’re learning how to pursue those things without working against your body to get there.

That's where the partnership becomes practical.

A completely personalized 1:1 experience designed around your body, your history, and the patterns keeping you stuck.

Over six months, we'll work together through the Back to Your Body framework, applying it to your specific relationship with food, exercise, your body, and your health.

What it includes

Weekly 60-minute sessions with me for six months

You’ll meet with me privately for 60 minutes each week, for a total of 24 weeks.

Every session builds on the last. Rather than jumping between disconnected topics, we'll move through the Back to Your Body framework while tailoring the work to you, your history, your physiology, your patterns, and what your body is communicating along the way.

You'll leave each session knowing exactly what we're focusing on next and how to apply the work in your actual life.

Ongoing Support Between Sessions

You'll have ongoing messaging access to me between our sessions.

Because this work involves  learning how to respond to your body when you're hungry, overwhelmed, triggered, exhausted, tempted to compensate, unsure what to eat, or noticing yourself slipping back into old patterns outside of sessions too.

The Back to Your Body Framework

You aren't given a generic plan and told to follow it.

You'll be guided through the pillars with the phases of the Back to Your Body framework:

Phase 01. Build the Relationship:

Learn your body's language, build communication and trust, and develop the skills to recognize and respond to what your body is communicating.

Phase 02. Partner With Your Body:

Use that relationship to make real changes around food, movement, recovery, physiology, and the patterns that have kept you stuck.

The framework stays consistent. The way we apply it to you does not.

What Changes...

01 You experience what it actually feels like to be on your own side and develop a fundamentally different relationship with your body. You stop waking up thinking about what needs to be fixed, changed, or controlled and begin experiencing your body as an intelligent partner. The voice that once acted like a drill sergeant begins to soften, creating a stronger sense of emotional safety within yourself.

02 You’ll become fluent in the language of the body. You learn to recognize, interpret, understand, and respond to the communication you’ve spent years overriding. From hunger and fullness to fatigue, stress, pain, cravings, urges, and other physical and emotional cues. You stop automatically assuming every signal needs to be suppressed, questioned, controlled, or feared.

03 You break away from swinging between rigid control and feeling out of control. You work directly with the patterns that have kept you stuck: restriction, bingeing, overeating, compensating, compulsive exercise, body checking, or constantly “starting over”, learning how to heal the cycles and respond differently.

04You build trust with your body and become someone your body can trust. Trust isn’t something you simply decide to have. It is built through consistent communication, responsiveness, and care. As you stop repeatedly overriding your body’s needs and begin responding to what it is communicating, the relationship starts to change.

05 You get your mental space back. Food, exercise, and whether you’re doing enough no longer consume so much of your attention. You don’t need to constantly check, calculate, evaluate, compensate, or determine whether you’re on or off track.

06 You become capable of navigating life without automatically returning to control. A stressful week, a change in your body, eating more than planned, or missing a workout no longer has to send you into panic. You develop the ability to adapt when life happens without immediately reverting to old extremes.

07 You stop outsourcing authority to external protocols, trends, or experts. You learn to combine what you know with what your body is communicating and develop discernment to determine what is actually right for you.

08 You care for your body without abandoning your ambition. You can still care deeply about being strong, healthy, fit, high-performing, taking care of your body. The difference is that you no longer have to work against your body to pursue those things. You learn how to pursue your goals in partnership with your body rather than at its expense.

How this is different

People hear “relationship with the body” and immediately think of body image, self-love, or learning to feel better about how they look. That’s not what this is. Back to Your Body is a completely different way of understanding why these patterns exist in the first place.

Because the problem was never simply food, or simply body image. It was never simply your nervous system or that you didn’t know what your body needed. Those are the places the struggle shows up. The deeper problem is the relationship you have with your body underneath all of it.

Think about what you’ve been taught to do when something feels wrong in your body: fix it, control it, override it, analyze it, restrict it, distrust it, find the right answer, try harder...and when that doesn’t work, find another strategy. That creates a very particular relationship with your body: your body becomes something to manage rather than something to be in relationship with. And that relationship is what sits underneath the patterns you keep trying to change.

Intuitive eating says: “Trust your hunger.”

Nervous system work says: “Understand your patterns.”

Functional nutrition says: “Understand your symptoms.”

Body image work says: “Change how you see yourself.”

But none of those get to the deeper question:  “What is your relationship with your own body, the very body you’ve been trying so hard to understand, regulate, nourish, accept, and change?

Because you can know your hunger cues and still override them. You can understand your nervous system and still use that knowledge to control yourself. You can understand your symptoms and still be afraid of what your body is telling you. You can change the way you see your body and still feel the need to manage it.

Information does not create relationshipAnd strategies do not heal a relationship that was built on distrust, disconnection, and control.

That is why Back to Your Body goes somewhere different. We don’t just work on the behavior, the pattern underneath the behavior, the food, the physiology, the nervous-system responses, or body image. We work on the relationship underneath all of it.

The issue was never your body. It was the distance you were taught to create from it.

Back to Your Body is where you learn to stop managing your body and start living in relationship with it.

That is the work. That is what changes everything.

My Story

My relationship with my body for most of my life was a volatile one. I was cruel to her; nothing she ever did felt good enough. I starved her, overworked her, neglected her, judged her, shamed her, and betrayed her - all while completely ignoring the messages she was sending me.

At my lowest point, when my eating disorder took on a life of its own, I decided I was done living this way. But it wasn't simple. As I was healing my eating disorder, another issue surfaced: my gut health took a turn, my body was exhausted, my hair was falling out, my skin was breaking out. And suddenly, the strategies I had relied on for years weren't working anymore.

For a long time, I was lost. I fought with everything I had, but nothing was changing. I kept "losing". I fell apart over and over until eventually I hit my breaking point. I kept looking for the right answer. I kept trying to figure out what was wrong with my body.

I fell apart over and over until eventually I hit my breaking point and I realized this wasn't somethign I could out-control.

The turning point wasn't another protocol. It was realizing the problem wasn't my body - it was our relationship. I didn't trust her. I didn't have a relationship with my body. I had a battle with it. And instead of listening to her, I had been trying to control and manager her my entire life.

So I slowed down. I had to not only learn to trust her, but prove to her that she could trust me too. I learned how to notice subtle patterns or nudges, make connections, and tie everything together. I had to get to know her for the first time. It took me years, but through that, I experienced the most rewarding, heart-opening, and healing process I have ever been through:

I overcame my eating disorder.
My gut health improved.
My chronic stress decreased,
But more importantly, I fell in love with my body. I stopped fighting her. I felt at home.

And over time, the patterns I had been stuck in began to shift as the relationship itself changed.

That became the foundation of Back to Your Body.

Back to Your Body is the process I wish I had when I was in that place. It's how I found freedom. It completely changed the way I view and work with my body. So I turned what I learned into a step-by-step framework for others who feel stuck in the same loop. I'm giving you the gift I had to learn the hard way. You don't have to figure it out all alone like I did.

As time went on, what used to feel like constant internal conflict began to settle in a way I didn’t know was possible.

This is what I now guide people through. If you're ready to stop living at odds with your body, this is your turning point.

Are you finally ready to silence all the noise and come back to yourself?
